Humble beginnings
Like many great companies, Summit Valley Services didn’t start out with a fancy office or even a warehouse. In fact, Summit Valley Services didn’t even start as a janitorial company. Things started out in 2014 with Kennedy Carrier and his detailing business running out of the garage of his parents house in Amherst. This wasn’t a business, but a way to earn extra money to pay for college. Things quickly moved forward out of that garage and what started out as a detailing business doing a couple cars a week turned in to 6-7 cars a day out of his families home. By 2016, Kennedy had moved his business in to an 8400 square foot industrial building in Amherst Township, well outside of his financial comfort zone.
